According to the latest figures published the trend of online shopping space is growing significantly in India since last 4 years. In India around 55-60% people has direct or indirect access to internet.  And these people of are visiting online shopping portals on a regular basis.

Reports are showing around 20% increase in visitor to online shopping stores in the last year and it will be increased rapidly in coming years.  This has led to an emerging new market in India yes that is coupon/daily deal site market in India. These sites have grown rapidly in past years getting more than 200% percent increased traffic compared to last year traffic on website.

Few year back coupon segment was just started but now they have captured the most market.  Now people are aware of coupon market as well as the coupon website, they are aware that they can get discounts on almost every product. Customers are using discount coupons for everything from diapers to mobile phones to spa, salon even for cab booking.


The mentality of Indian people is while shopping is to get things as cheap as possible. And coupons companies capitalize this mentality. Industry people are saying that the coupon industry will grow as market of online portal grows.  Mydala, Groupon, couponZpoint, Coupondunia are doing great in this industry.
According to Alexa ranking mydala is leading from the front in Coupon industry. Others website like Coupondunia, Groupon are also doing great. 

 
In this industry the chances of getting complaints are very less because company ties up with the merchant and after that they live it on their website.
